God’s Holy Bible

All scripture is given of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works”.

 – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We use the King James Bible as the rule and authority of our lives. It is complete and without error.

One Triune God

One God, existing from all eternity, to all eternity. He is the Creator of all things.  (Genesis 1:1). Revealed to men as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Matthew 3:16-17).

Jesus Christ, The Son of God

Fully human and fully God; born of a virgin, (Isa.7:14, Lk. 1:34) lived a sinless life on earth, (2 Cor.5:21) died a substitutionary death on the cross, as payment in full for the sins of all mankind, (1 John 2:2) arose from the dead, (Lk 24:6-7) and ascended back into heaven, in a glorified body, (Luke 24:36-43) . Only through this Jesus Christ, (Acts 4:12) by repentance from sin Acts2:38, belief in your heart, and confession with your lips, can men be Saved (Romans 10:9).

The Holy Spirit of God

The Holy Ghost is the third person of the Trinity. He is the Spirit of God. (John 14:16-17, 26, and 15:26). He convicts men of their sins. He regenerates those who believe. He is guide, teacher, sanctifier, comforter, and the power of God within every believer.

Resurrection

There shall be a resurrection of the dead. The saved unto everlasting life in heaven (Rom. 8:11, Rev.3:20, &21:7); and the unsaved unto eternal punishment in the lake of fire (Rev.20:11-15).

Mankind

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. (Rom.3:23) Repentance from sin (Acts 2:38), and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 8:35-37) by the power of the Holy Ghost, are absolute and essential for the rebirth of every soul. “For by Grace are ye saved through Faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8-9. We Believe every genuinely regenerated person is commanded by God (Matt.28:19) to be baptized by immersion and be a part of the local Independent, fundamental, separated Bible believing church. (Acts 2:38-47, 5:42, & Eph.5:25-27).

Righteous Living

Righteous living and good works are not a merit for salvation, but rather a proper response to the saving power of God. (Eph.2:10) This gives evidence and fruits of genuine salvation, by the grace of God (Eph.2:8). Additionally, as ambassadors of Jesus Christ we are to proclaim a message of reconciliation to all the world. (2 Cor. 5:18 & 20) We are to separate ourselves from unbelievers, and touch not the unclean thing, (2 Cor.6:14-17) this includes hypocrites and heretics, and love of the world, (1John2:15) and compromisers.

A Word from the Pastor

  • Ask for the Old Paths

    • The Bible says: "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.    But they said,  We will not walk therein."  (Jeremiah 6:16)   This has never changed even unto this day.  Too bad.  God has told us what to do,  for our own good,  and our answer is:  We will not walk therein.   There are so many "new" things available for us today that we are overwhelmed with options.  I must say that Not everything out there is "good" for you.   How do I know which is which ?  Could I offer this suggestion?  Choose that which is God Honoring.  Go for a higher, nobler standard, other than just what is God allowed.  Live a life, pleasing unto God. I have heard it said, we are as Holy as we want to be.  I believe it.  I had to think about it first, but I believe it.   You are as good a bowler as you want to be.  You are as good a hunter as you want to be.  You are as good a mother, or father as you want to be...   I believe the list goes on and on. You know we only have so much time here on earth.  Then comes death.  Whatsoever you believe, then comes death.   You will know beyond "faith" what is waiting after death.   The Bible also says: Ephesians 5:15-16 "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."   Now I do not know about you,  but I believe every word of the Bible.   This is what the Bible tells me,  so it is true.   If I want to be "better" I need to do something about it,  Now !   It is too bad we do not really consider these things when we are younger.  However, if you are reading this,  you have opportunity Now !   How I spend my time here on earth is up to me.  I know we all have our excuses,  but our life is our choice.   Worldly counselors  will even tell you the same thing.  Make better choices.  For everyone this is always good advice.  I would ask you to go a step further.  How about . . .    Make Godly Choices.  read your Bible, do as it says.  Accept a challenge,  Get closer to God.   Even this country, years ago was closer to God.   We had a book, the Bible.  Many people looked to it for answers.  I believe it still works today.  God is still God.   How about honoring Him.   How about living our lives to please God.  We would be "better" for it. more
